As a general rule- .com- .net- and .org are the cheapest domains and are usually under $10 each. The most expensive is usually .ws or .us- which can run you up over $20 per year. However- you do have to remember that the other factors will affect the price as well. So if you look to register for 5-10 years you will find that sometimes those .tv or .ws suffixes can be as little as one or two years with a .biz or .info suffix.
